Privacy policy
PowerTodo is made by Prisha iCube (“we”). This policy explains what data the PowerTodo website and apps collect, why, and what you can do about it. Task lists often hold sensitive work information, and we treat them that way.
In short
- No advertising, and we never sell personal data.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
- Tasks are stored on your device first. They reach our servers only if you create an account to sync.
- AI features are off unless you switch them on.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion at any time.
What this website collects today
PowerTodo is in development and this website has no accounts. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes the technical data every web request carries: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver pages, keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and is kept only for a limited period.
The capture line on the home page runs entirely in your browser. What you type there is not stored or sent anywhere.
Tasks and accounts
When the app opens, tasks you create are saved on your device. If you create an account so your tasks sync between devices, they are also stored on our servers, encrypted in transit and protected at rest. Before accounts launch, this policy will be updated to name the services involved and where data is stored.
Cookies and device storage
This website uses no cookies. The app will use your browser’s storage to keep your tasks and settings on your device, and, once accounts exist, a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. Neither is used for tracking.
AI features
AI features are optional and off by default. When you use one, only the data needed for that request is sent to the AI provider, and we will only use providers whose terms forbid training their models on your data.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that run PowerTodo for us (currently Vercel for hosting), under contracts that limit their use of it, or when the law requires it. We do not share data for advertising.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.
Children
PowerTodo is not intended for anyone under 18.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, with a strict Content Security Policy and other protective headers. To report a vulnerability, see the security page.
Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page with a new effective date, and give notice in the app for significant changes once accounts exist.
